Project Enable Fellowship
In 2018, we launched the Inclusion Hub, a disability-focused digital training centre for persons with disabilities in Lagos.
Disability-inclusive Media Reporting
From 2018 to 2022, we trained over 100 media practitioners representing about 30 media organisations in disability-inclusive media reporting.
Access 360
Access 360 is an open-source digital platform that provides a mapping of PWDs throughout the country through data collection, collation, and analysis.
FollowDis ACT Campaign
Following the Discrimination Against Persons with Disability (Prohibition) Act in January 2019, we launched the #FollowDisACT (curated from Follow the Disability Act) to drive, monitor and report the progress of the implementation of the Act. This campaign started with a media sensitization of media organisations and the public through various curated content to help society members understand the Act’s provision and its implications.
The Nigeria Business Disability Network
As a founding member of the Nigeria Business Disability Network, we support the network with technical expertise to improve the disability confidence of member organisations. In 2022, we supported the organisation of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Diversity and Inclusion Conference in commemoration of Global Accessibility Day. The conference brought together various private sector organisations to share evidence and resources, foster partnership, and highlight the experience of persons with disabilities in the private sector.
Annual Disability Dialogue Series
The annual disability dialogue series started in 2014 to mark the United Nations International Day of Persons with disabilities
Business Support
The business support program provides training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and funding support and linkages to entrepreneurs with disabilities across Nigeria.
Youth Employment
The youth employment program is upskilling young persons with disabilities with employability and life skills and connecting them with job opportunities across Nigeria.
Workplace Disability Inclusion
Since 2019, we have trained and worked with various organisations, especially in the private sector, to improve disability accessibility in their corporate policies, processes, programs and platforms.
