This process is open to beneficiaries, community members, staff, volunteers, contractors, and any member of the public. You do not need to be directly affected to raise a concern on behalf of someone else.
Abuse, exploitation, harassment, or harm involving staff, volunteers or beneficiaries
Concerns about how activities were delivered or how you were treated as a beneficiary
Suspected fraud, misuse of funds, or corruption involving organisational resources

Reports can be made anonymously. You will not be asked to provide your name or contact details if you do not wish to.

Your report is acknowledged within 5 working days (if contact details provided)
The Safeguarding Lead assesses the concern and determines the appropriate response
A confidential investigation is conducted. External authorities are notified where required by law
You are informed of the outcome where possible, and referred to appropriate support services
Project Enable Africa has a strict zero-tolerance policy on retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. Any act of retaliation is itself a disciplinary offence.
Your identity will be protected to the greatest extent possible throughout the process. Information is only shared on a need-to-know basis.
Project Enable is a community development initiative that was founded in 2014 to advocate for the rights and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Nigeria.
