Meet Betty and Yewande | They can’t hear but they can work

In commemoration of the 2022 Labour Day, we are glad to be upskilling young persons with disabilities for decent employment, and supporting organisations to become disability-confident employers through our Youth Employment Program for persons with disability, we are bridging the gap between the demand and supply of talents with disabilities in the formal sector. We work with our employer partners across sectors to train, place and mentor young persons with disabilities in job roles and show society that there is productivity in disability. So far, we have had over 60% retention rate of our interns with employers. Special thanks to @thecableng for featuring our program beneficiaries who now work full time with Sheraton Hotel Ikeja @sheratonlagos in their story. Watch the video to hear their stories.
